Abstract

The Indian sub-continent is considered to be the most fertile land in terms of knowledge, where genius scholars were born. They left a prominent name in the field of education and learning. He waged jihad against the false system of the British through his pen and language and also rejected many false sects born in the subcontinent. There are many scholars whose books alone are enough to recognize them. One of them is the name of Hafiz Abdullah Roopari. The number of his works is around 250 and many books are also well known. His fatwas in two volumes are short but well-reasoned. In his fatwa, jurisprudential insight is also clearly visible along with arguments from the Qur'an and hadiths, which provide a satisfactory answer to the questioner.
