Abstract

Muslim scholars played a significant role in the promotion of Hadith literature and its sciences. Abul Hasan Muhammad bin Abdul Hadi Al-Sindhi Al-Kabir (d.1138 AH) is one of those scholars who devoted his life for the promotion of Hadith. He was an eminent scholar and jurist of his time. He contributed through his commentary notes on various books of Ahadith. His books are referred by most scholars because of its brevity and comprehensiveness. He highlighted some unique and contemporary issues in Hadith Studies. This study discusses various dimensions of his works on books of Ahadith and its relevance in the contemporary times. It also deals with the characteristics and qualities of his works in detail.
