Abstract

Naat is the language to praise the every aspect of life of the Holy Prophet (SAW), from the core of heart and sensation. Naat is not an action, rather it is blessing, bestowed from the almighty Allah. And those who are blessed with this feature are among the best people. The art of Naat is not limited to the race, language or geography, rather it is prevalent in all over the world. Similarly, this characteristic is also observed among the poetesses of Punjab Province. Either it is Parveen Sajal, Shahida Latif, Nusrat Abdul Rasheed, Noreen Talat Aruba, Rabia Batool or Shahnaz Muzamil, all these poetesses have praised the personality of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) from every aspect, and their contribution cannot be ignored.
